Who We Are
DeRomo’s is a premier Gourmet Market, Restaurant and Catering company with a passion for great food and great service. For many years, we have shared this passion with customers throughout South Florida and New York. Including the development and operation of DeRosa’s Gourmet Market & Bakery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (opened in 2001), our management team has decades of experience in all aspects of food service, restaurant operations, catering, marketing, site selection, and creative design work.
It is our goal to offer a unique shopping, dining, and entertainment experience with DeRomo’s Gourmet Market and Restaurant. Our product line is constantly expanding through customer requests and we are dedicated to traveling to specialty food shows all over the world to stock the best and most up-to-date products available.

Roberto Cardenas Rimarow
Executive Corporate Chef Roberto Cardenas Rimarow was educated and trained in Europe. He brings nearly 20 years of experience specializing in Italian cuisine to DeRomo’s. He is also the recipient of two awards from Distinguished Restaurants of North America. In 2000 and 2001 he was awarded the DiRona Award of Distinction while at La Bussola, Coral Gables, Florida. He comes to DeRomo’s with experience working at restaurants on Florida’s east coast, as well as in Munich, Germany and Rome. Accustomed to catering to the most discriminating clientele, Rimarow is pleased to bring his love of food and people, along with his creative and innovative style of traditional Italian cuisine, to Southwest Florida.
